Cannon Ban Overdue

Thumbs up to Abbotsford Council for listening to their residents and for coming to grips with one of the most ludicrous farm practices one could ever imagine, ie. propane cannons.

How a few hundred blueberry farmers, many of whom do not even live on their farms where the cannons are blasting away, have been allowed to disrupt the lives of so many Fraser Valley residents for so long is certainly hard to believe.

Finally a municipality is going to tackle this issue and work towards a total ban of agricultural noisemakers.

Again I say, well done Abbotsford Council.
